About This Event
In the third event of our Storytelling Series, join National Geographic journalist and independent producer James Edward Mills as he reveals how to uncover powerful, often-overlooked stories across America. You'll leave with the skills and inspiration to ask challenging questions, listen closely, and create an incredible story about someone in your own community!
Activity: After the event, guide your students through the next mission, Connect with a Community Member, where they will focus on developing and practicing the listening skills needed to ask others challenging questions in order to craft an engaging story.
