Coral Comeback?

Coral reefs are some of the most important ecosystems in the oceans. Many around the world are dying at an alarming rate due to ocean acidification and rising water temperatures from climate change. Recently, however, scientists have discovered promising new techniques to help keep coral alive and help bring back many reefs that are in danger of dying.

Use a selection or all nine videos with your students to help them understand how scientists are using new techniques to save coral, why this matters to them, and what steps they can take, no matter where they are, to help save coral everywhere.
