- A diaspora is the spread of a people or a community from their homeland. Diasporas have many different layered meanings in today's world. There are positive diasporas, there are diasporas of intellectuals, there are diasporas of academics. But there are also diasporas that have a harder connotation. These are people who move because of negative forces, such as wars, such as climate change. Any sort of economic hardship can cause a diaspora as well.

- Una diáspora es la dispersión de un pueblo o una comunidad desde su tierra natal. Las diásporas tienen diferentes significados en el mundo actual. Hay diásporas positivas, hay diásporas de intelectuales, hay diásporas de profesores. Pero también hay diásporas con una connotación más dura. Son personas que se mudan debido a fuerzas negativas, como las guerras, como el cambio climático. Cualquier tipo de crisis económica también puede causar una diáspora.
