About This Event
Explorer Gabby Salazar is a photographer and environmental social scientist who works with scientists to help tell stories about their research. Explorer Ross Donihue is a cartographer and conservationist who uses map-based storytelling to communicate science and to connect people with places. Together they are working with a team of scientists exploring a recently discovered petrified forest in Guatemala. Join them to learn about this expedition and why collaboration–both with other scientists and local communities–is so important.
