About This Event
Explorer Ru Somaweera is a herpetologist, which means he studies reptiles and amphibians. His research focuses on reptiles far and wide–from sea snakes in the Indian Ocean, to crocodiles in the remote Kimberly outback of Australia, to the horned lizards in the high mountains of Sri Lanka. Follow Ru into the field as he looks for the tiger snake and learn how scientists can safely study these venomous and wonderful species–and why reptiles need to be protected.
